My Writing

I began an Instagram page on January 1, 2019, as a home for my poems, thoughts, doodles, lyrics, and free-writes. I use photos I take of myself or nature. A lot of the content is deeply self-reflective - bordering on 'too self-aware' - and full of metaphors and nostalgia, laced with longing & threaded by hope. I named the page 'floweryconcision' because the two words are contradictory; you cannot easily convey a message in a way that is both concise and flowery. I like the idea of exploring the path to my root message or conclusion while relishing the freedom of using language as an experimental art.
